Kissable feet
The Mule,
what kind of a name is that anyway…
It certainly doesn't describe the footwear very
well, otherwise than by saying it is a shoe that
is so comfortable that it is being worn on an every
day basis, just like the mule is an animal that
was used in the past by everyone for all sorts of
daily chores. It might also mean that just like
the four legged beast, they can go almost anywhere
(read: worn for any occasion).
In fact, the mule is a sheath type of shoe where
one's foot easily slips in and out. Some have a
closed tip but I would say that most of today's
models have an open toe. But then again, the latest
designer models tend to imitate the medieval looks
of the long pointed and closed toe. Many models
can also be called sandals as the only pieces of
material holding the foot onto the shoe are thin
straps, sometimes so thin they are compared to spaghetti!
But it sure makes a beautiful foot stand out and
grab everyone's attention.
This footwear always has an open back with nothing
to hold the heel down onto the insole. So depending
on the style of the shoe, the width and length of
the vamp, or the number of straps that are used,
it is quite common to hear the heel slap against
the wearer's sole as she walks in them, making it
a very recognizable sound to one's practiced ears…
The greatest advantage of wearing such a shoe is
that it can be put on and taken off quite easily
of course. Sometimes TOO easily and if the girl
has to walk fast or even run to catch the bus in
such shoes, they will inevitably be lost early in
the very first few steps she takes. And that holds
true even more if the foot is covered in silky nylon!
Heel height and design is infinite! Flat soles with
a very thin heel, wedge heels, square heels, stiletto
heels, they come in all shapes and sizes, from a
quarter of an inch to as high as six inches! Of
course the 15 centimeter skyscraper heels are not
made for walking and are better worn inside the
bedroom…
I will do my best to try and find different photo
sets to illustrate as many types of mules as I can,
as these are very sexy shoes that advantage a woman's
foot when the heel is high enough. Let's say between
2 to 4 inches, and as thin as possibly can to give
the wearer the real lady vamp look!
Girls beware, if you buy such shoes and wear them
in the house, at the office or anywhere you want
to flirt and drag, your admirers will be on your
heels at all times…!
